Emily Klemmer is a freelance writer whose articles can be found in Dance Teacher Magazine, CriticalDance.com and On Tap Magazine. She writes short stories and is currently working on a childhood memoir about growing up in New York City in the 60s.
With a Masters Degree in Social Work from NYU, Emily is a licensed psychotherapist of 18 years. She carries a Bachelors Degree in Dance from Grand Valley State University. She has performed in two modern dance companies in NYC and received her Laban/Bartenieff Certification in the study of dance notation. She has taught many forms of dance.
